My Northwest -- Seattle City Council wants a 'do-not-mail' registry

The city of Seattle is taking a symbolic stand against junk mail.
The City Council is asking the state legislature to create a
'do-not-mail' registry to give people the opportunity to opt-out.
Members said they're tired of spending millions of dollars to collect
and recycle all those ads for the neighborhood dry-cleaners or
dentists.
